“ Hands down the Best Doner in the town.. Matter of fact, the best chicken and lamb doner i have ever had. Their fresh pitta bread is so delicious as an appetiser. A must, if you are in town. ”

“ Not only a takeaway, also a lovely restaurant. We were walking by and a man approached us to talk about the menu. It sounded great, so we decided to go in. We got a chicken kebab and chips which was enjoyable but the chicken meat let it down slightly, it wasn’t very nice. However, the rest of the meal was great. The gentleman on the door also said that they offer complimentary balloon bread which we weren’t given, however we didn’t mind as we assumed you probably had to order more to get that which is fine. The gentleman who served us our drinks and food was absolutely lovely, we loved talking to him and he made us feel so welcome. The meal was very good value for what we paid and we’re glad we stopped by. Thank you! :) ”

“ You have never had an incredible Kebab if you have not visited this place. Honestly. We chanced by this place on our way to a reservation, we were stopped and offered testers which we begrudgingly tried thinking it would be ok, but it left us wanting to skip the reservation and just eat here. We returned the following night not sure what to expect, it could have been a fluke or they gave us the best in the testers, but we couldn't have been more wrong! The kebabs were the best we have ever had and the prices were very reasonable! Everything on the plate from the salad to the pittas were freshly made to order, nothing had that "pre made and slopped onto the plate for order" feeling. The atmosphere was incredible with you sat on a balcony above the street, offering stunning views of the street and surrounding mountains. ”

“ I had a doner which was decent, though it took a little time to prepare. The taste was good, and the fries were homemade. They also have an upstairs seating area where you can eat on site. ”

“ We were lured in by free samples of lamb the restaurant worker gave us after a short talk. The portion sizes were SO generous. Service was perfect as well. For someone who has never eaten lamb meat before, the urfa kebab had a bit of a foreign smell. Our favorite dish was the. vegetarian beyeti kebab. PLEASE TRY! Also, we got katmer dessert for free since the kunefe took quite a while to be served (we didn’t think it was that long though). It was such a heartwarming gesture. ”

“ We were literally the first customers of the 2025 season! Just a random choice while walking down Hisaronu high street. The staff could not have been more accommodating, especially as we asked for a mixed kebab platter, so a lot of work for just us. We felt the food was great value, with a balloon bread and dips to start, and the ability to sit upstairs and watch the world go by was great. ”

“ Best food we had in Hisoranu. We went twice and the quality of food and service was the same on both nights. To be honest, I would have been more that happy to eat here every night of the holiday as there was a great selection. Others in the group had the vegetarian options and they raved about them as well. I'm guessing that the negative reviews are maybe other vendors being vindictive? Maybe a little higher in price compared to other restaurants/takeaways but the food and service was exceptional. The mixed platter for two was unreal, do it!! ”
